Job description

We are currently looking for self-motivated, conscientious, hardworking, honest & reliable members of staff to carry out PPM Refrigeration Case Cleaning in Northern Ireland and throughout Republic of Ireland. The role will involve extensive travel throughout NI & ROI and a requirement to stay away from home at times will be required.

The nature of the work includes maintaining and cleaning supermarket refrigerated units as part of a team on Night Shifts. 4 SHIFTS PER WEEK! 

The work is NIGHT SHIFT to work around supermarket closure times. Usually starting between 7pm and 8pm for 10 hour shifts. Monday, start 4 Nights a week. So you will have 3 nights off. Travel time is part of the 10 hour shift, paid shift Door to Door!

Full training will be given, the client is interested in hearing from job seekers with a skilled/semi-skilled background - including any of the following- Plumbing/HVAC/Electrical/Mechanical/Handy person. You will not be working alone.

Scope and purpose of the job 

As a Refrigeration Case Maintenance PPM Engineer, you will be supporting R2S to ensure the area you are allocated operates effectively and efficiently. The work is varied and interesting. You will be paid for the full shift with no breaks money deducted, but breaks will obviously be taken as per H&S requirements for a night shift.

All necessary Covid H&S recommendations will be always adhered to.

These positions come with the opportunity of long term work and progression within the company. There is also a Work vehicle included in the role.

• Excellent attitude and approach to work. 

• Previous experience in Refrigeration PPM works (Desirable but not essential as training will be provided)

• Technical background.

• Highly self-reliant, motivated and enthusiastic. 

• Approachable, open and able to work as part of a team. 

• Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills. 

• Commitment to quality and attention to detail. 

• You are what the client sees first; make it a good impression (ensure you comply with dress code and maintain your vehicle in good order).

Skill Set, Qualifications and Preferred Experience 

The candidate would need a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to the customer’s needs. 

• Proven knowledge of Refrigeration PPM Maintenance would be beneficial 

• F Gas qualifications would be beneficial but not essential 

• Basic electrical qualifications would be beneficial but not essential 

• Training to be given 

• Full UK drivers licence required
